Born in Concepcion (1972), pianist Michio Nishihara Toro has established himself as one of the leading chilean pianists of the new generation. Since his first public performance, Mr. Nishihara Toro has developed his musical career mainly in Europe and South America, performing in such venues as Royal Festival Hall in London, Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, Royal Castle in Warsaw, Meistersaal in Berlin, International Institute in Madrid, Philomuses Society in Paris, Rachmaninov Hall of Moscow Conservatoire, Witold Lutoslawski Hall of Polish Radio in Warsaw (S1), Chopin Society in Warsaw, Pavillon Josephine in Strasbourg, and many others. He has recorded for radio, and also 3 CD releases. Nishihara Toro received is musical education in Chile, then in Bydgoszcz Music Academy in Poland, and finally in the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire.
